We support individuals, organizations and institutions that need financial support to complete projects within culture, education, science and information.

Persons, organizations or institutions that recieves support must be situated in Greenland or be situated in one of the other Nordic countries and copporate with greenlandic institutions, organizations or institutions. Support can also be provided for projects that strenghtens the relationship between Greenland and the Nordic countries.

The Nordic countries are Greenland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Faeroe Islands and the Åland Islands.

We support professionals as well as amateurs. Some of NAPA’s resources support our own projects. In this respect we are always interested in corporations or inspiration to begin a new project.

The application
Your application must be send 2 month before the project begins. You will receive a written notice from us that we have received it and an estimate of how long the processing will be. There are no definite processing time in NAPA but in general: the larger amount you apply for the longer processing you can expect.

One month after the project you need to:

• Send a rapport and an account with copies of receipt for expences
• Evaluate the project and send it to NAPA. The rapport should include photos or sound and video from the project. NAPA will be happy to help with interviews or recordings of the project.
• NAPA maintains right to use the project or parts of it to promote the institute.

NAPA does not support
NAPA supports a lot of cultural areas within the focus areas that are described abowe. Obviously there are also cultural areas that we can not support among others: 

• Unions and organizations operations or deficits
• Science projetcs or medical studies
• Projects or travels within sports
• School trips between Denmark and Greenland - but we support trips between Greenland and one of the other Nordic countries
• Equipment for production like instruments, camera, computers etc.
